Evaluation Principles
- The creation or expansion of an article will be evaluated from 1 to 9 points.
- Created articles. New articles are accepted in which the number of useful (encyclopedic) coherent text is at least 150 words. For such an article, the contestant receives 1 point. With an additional extension and/or with a significant improvement in the design of the article, the contestant may receive 1 or 2 additional points.
- Expanded articles. Expanded articles are accepted in which the number of useful (encyclopedic) coherent text has been increased by at least 120 words. For such an addition, the contestant receives 1 base point. With an additional extension and/or with a significant improvement in the design of the article, the contestant may receive 1 additional point.
- As noted above, articles dedicated to the works of the writer Victor Pelevin will be evaluated with a triple coefficient.
Rules
- All registered users are allowed to the competition (registration time does not matter).
- Articles must meet the following criteria:
- A new article must be created from 25 January to 10 March 2021.
- Articles must be created or substantially expanded by the participant of the competition.
- Articles must be written/expanded until such condition that they are not threatened with deletion and do not require urgent cleanup. Articles must meet patrol requirements. Subjects of articles are required to be notable, articles should be based on reliable sources.
- Articles that participated in the competition must not contain copyright violations. Participant may be disqualified for massive copyright violations.
- The useful encyclopedic volume of the text of the new article must be at least 150 words.
- Existing articles must be increased by at least 120 words of the encyclopedic text; at the same time, the article's initial volume should be increased by at least 2 times.
- After creating an article, each participant must include it himself into the table below.
Summarizing
- 1.1. The results of the competition are summed up by the Jury.
- 1.2. When summarizing, both quantity and quality of the participant's works are taken into account.
- 1.2.1. The participant with the highest number of points wins the competition. In case of a tie, the Jury will evaluate the overall size and quality of the articles.
- 1.2.2. To receive the prize, the participant must create or expand at least 7 eligible articles.
- 1.2.3. Violation of the conditions for participation in the competition (lack of registration, using multiple accounts, creation of articles with copyright violations and low-quality articles, other violations) may cause the participant's disqualification.
- 1.2.4. The jury may disqualify a participant for violating the principle of Fair Play, in particular for the massive creation of articles using bots; for not entering created/expanded articles into the table within a reasonable time frame; for the massive creation of pre-prepared articles at any stage, as well as for any actions that ruin fair competition or deceive other competition participants.
- 1.2.5. The Jury's decision will be announced within 7 days after the end of the competition. It will be final and not subject to appeal.
- 1.3. By 17 March 2021, the winners will be informed by the Organizer.

Prizes
The prize fund was provided by the Webpublishers Association and the “Pravo Avtora” [“Author's Right”] company. The total amount of the prize fund is 120 thousand rubles [€ 1,312].
4 winners are determined for each of the 2 nominations:
- 1st place — a gift card of the online retail platform “Ozon” in the amount of 25,000 rubles or a gift card of the online retail platform “Amazon” in the amount of USD 350 (at the discretion of the winner).
- 2nd place — a gift card of the online retail platform “Ozon” in the amount of 20,000 rubles or a gift card of the online retail platform “Amazon” in the amount of USD 280 (at the discretion of the winner).
- 3rd place — a gift card of the online retail platform “Ozon” in the amount of 10,000 rubles or a gift card of the online retail platform “Amazon” in the amount of USD 140 (at the discretion of the winner).
- 4th place — a gift card of the online retail platform “Ozon” in the amount of 5,000 rubles or a gift card of the online retail platform “Amazon” in the amount of USD 70 (at the discretion of the winner).
