Civil Law Amendments Lobbying

Russian legislation is not absolutely frienly to the free public licenses: some stipulations of the free licenses contradict the law. Moreover, the nature of the free licenses is not explicitly reflected in the law. This cause freely-licensed content authors and users to be uncertain about status of the licenses and about whether or not the law protects their interests.

In order to fix this situation, Wikimedia RU conducts systematic activities in order to resolve these issues.
