Wiki-initiatives already being implemented and other possible ones in cooperation with various local partners should be best coordinated and implemented in a programmatic manner.
The goal and achievement criteria[править]
To turn Tatarstan into a bright spot on the menntal map of the world:
- Any kind of up-to-date encyclopedic information about Tatarstan is accessible to people and search engines in all languages of the world.
- Information published in Wikimedia projects by Tatarstanians is significant, factual (neutral) and verifiable.
- Population and organizations of Tatarstan are qualified participants and competent co-owners of all Wikimedia projects, respected by international Wiki-community.
Stakeholders and coordination[править]
Stakeholders of Tatarstan WikiProject are:
- all citizens, organizations and authorities of Tatarstan,
- international community of Wikimedia projectsvolunteer editors and various affiliates of global Wikimedia movement
- Wikimedia readers in various countries of the world, as well as
- Wikimedia Foundation, responsible for preservation and sustainable development of these platforms.
Successful implementation of the project will require:
- Creating effective coordination team, respected by all above mentioned parties,
- Prepare a public Action Plan
- Provide for international transparency and verifiability of all procedures, as well as regular status updates and reports.

- Create Wikidata elements and add all available factual knowledge
- Support facts with links to reliable sources,
- Link the elements with upstream and downstream elements within the logical tree about Tatarstan, as well as adjacent same-level elements (examples: Protected areas and cultural heritage monuments of Tatarstan, Education and Economy of Kazan, Settlements of Almetyevsky or Drozhzhanovsky district etc.).

- Describe significant phenomena with photo and video materials
- Freely licensed materials will be necessary - either photography and uploading contests, or licensing of available ones under compatible licenses see examples

- Creating and updating encyclopedic articles in various languages
